FAQ – Textile Printing

What types of textiles do you print on?

We print on T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, bags, caps, and other textiles. We offer the full range of products from leading promotional textile manufacturers. We generally print on cotton, but we also print on blends (cotton and synthetic materials).

What printing technologies do you use?

We primarily use screen printing—a high-quality, proven printing technology—for textiles. For small-batch orders and items like caps and waist bags, we use digital transfer printing.

How much does T-shirt printing cost?

The price depends on the quantity ordered and the number of print colors (for screen printing only). With screen printing, the rule is: the larger the print run, the lower the price per piece. You can easily calculate the cost for T-shirts and other textiles using our online price calculator.

How do I order T-shirt printing?

Here is our ordering guide: send us an inquiry specifying the type of textile and the quantity, along with a preview of the design you want to print. Based on your non-binding inquiry, we will send you a price quote. Once you confirm the quote (which we treat as an order), we will issue an invoice. After the invoice is paid and the proofs are approved (you approve the exact print layout, colors, design placement, etc.), the order goes into production. We will then ship the finished order to your specified address.

Can photographs be printed using screen printing?

Yes, screen printing allows for the printing of full-color raster designs. While print preparation is more complex, it guarantees an unbeatable price for larger print runs while maintaining high quality.

What is the minimum number of T-shirts?

The minimum quantity of garments depends on the chosen printing method. We offer digital transfer printing starting at 3 pieces. For screen printing, we handle simpler designs starting at approximately 30 pieces and more complex full-color designs starting at around 100 pieces.

What artwork files should I provide?

Vector files (EPS, PDF, AI, CDR) or raster images (TIF, EPS, PDF, PSD) are ideal. The recommended minimum resolution for T-shirt images (at 1:1 scale) is 300 DPI; however, this depends on the image type, and lower-resolution designs can often be adjusted for printing. Please be aware that very fine lines or tiny text may not meet reproduction requirements. We always check your files and will either adjust them ourselves or ask you to make corrections.

What is the turnaround time for T-shirt printing?

Standard delivery time is 10 working days. During peak season, delivery times may be slightly longer. Express processing is
available upon request.

Can I have my own T-shirts printed?

Yes, we can print on your own garments. For materials other than cotton—such as polyester or polyester blends—we recommend a
test print first. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the print results on unfamiliar materials.

Is it possible to order a print sample?

Yes, producing a sample is possible, particularly for larger orders such as band merchandise. Pricing and terms are determined on an individual basis.

Do I need to remove the background from my print artwork?

For most designs, the background can be removed, so you do not need to worry about this. However, for bitmap designs where the image blends smoothly into the background (i.e., the fabric color), we require artwork with a transparent background.

Can the same design be printed on different types of garments?

Yes; for example, you can print the same design on women’s and men’s T-shirts and hoodies in any quantity without an extra charge. Bags and drawstring bags can also be printed together. However, items like bags and T-shirts cannot be combined in a single print run, as they require different setup processes and are calculated separately.

Is the T-shirt print durable?

Screen printing inks essentially bond with the fabric fibers, so the print’s lifespan is comparable to that of the garment itself.

How should I wash printed garments and iron printed T-shirts?

We recommend washing printed garments inside out at temperatures up to 30–40°C, avoiding tumble drying, and ironing the garment inside out or using a protective cloth.
